Curriculum
Our curriculum at New Beginnings - Access to Education is designed to provide our students with a flexible, individualised and supportive pathway to academic success as well as personal growth.
Each student has their own Individual Education Plan which allows our experienced teachers to plan lessons tailored to the specific needs of each individual student they teach.
It is our aim to accommodate a variety of educational needs and we will work together to ensure these needs are met.
KS3
School Years 7-9
KS3 students will study a variety of National Curriculum subjects including:

KS4
School Years 10 & 11
KS4 students will receive education, support and guidance towards qualifications. We teach our KS4 students the core subjects of English, Maths and Science as well as any other GCSEs that students may have a talent in. There is also a strong focus on preparing our young people for their next steps to college and/or the world of work.

At New Beginnings, our curriculum facilitates opportunities to earn Entry Level Certificates in Maths and English, Functional Skills qualifications and GCSEs, providing a solid foundation for future education, training, or employment.
